Some of the more popular sleep apnea appliances include:

 CPAP Machine

This popular treatment device is not considered a dental appliance for sleep apnea but may be paired with additional oral appliances that you, your dentist, and your doctor agree on.

 Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD)

This oral appliance for sleep apnea is the most popular option. It looks just like a mouth guard used in sports and helps treat sleep apnea by controlling jaw position while sleeping.

 Tongue Retaining Device

Slightly less common than the MAD, this dental appliance for sleep apnea works as a splint inside a patient's mouth, holding the tongue in place to keep airways clear at night.
